Hello we are the Volker Family. We are in need of a sponsor for our daughter Calista Volker.

Aikido has helped our daughter not only physically but mentally as well. Since beginning Aikido, our daughter has found her self confidence, and has bettered her self esteem.

Unfortunately, at this time we do not have the financial means to support our daughter’s passion for Aikido. We were both laid off and are currently struggling to pay bills and rent. We would really like for Calista to be able to continue with Aikido as it has shown to be of great benefit to her young life.

Calista ("Cali") started training in June and got right to work putting all the boys in their place by tossing them all over the mat!  Then suddenly, both parents got laid off.  Grandma stepped up to pay the monthly dues.  And all was going well for a while.  But now the grandmother is no longer able to pay, due to unexpected medical bills.  So Cali's membership will run out at the end of November.  Unless we find sponsors for her.
