I first learned about Aikido Kenkyukai Santa Barbara ("AKSB") through their head instructor, Lia Suzuki Sensei.  I went to watch a class and was thoroughly impressed by the focus, discipline, and dedication of the students - not to mention the great workout they were getting!

AKSB is dedicated to encouraging the practice of the Japanese non-violent martial art of Aikido to promote physical health, self-esteem, and harmonious ways to resolve conflict.  Thanks to donations from the community, they are able accept students of all socio-economic levels by offering sponsorships and sliding scale memberships.

My goal is to raise $1,000.  Please help me help this worthy organization!
